This podcast came about after a discussion with my daughters. They are twins and currently 19. When they were little, I would read stories to them and often make up my own stories. I’d tell them these stories in different voices. The favourite being Nic Cage’s character from Con Air. They were huge fans of the National Treasure movies… Anyway, as they got older they would ask me what books I read when I was their age. I’d think back to when I was 14, 15… 16. I’d mention an author or specific books and we’d explore them together and find out if they were still good after all these years. Did the kids like them? What did they think of them? We would have long discussions deep into the early hours.
